Following the announcement of Charlie Watts demise by his publicist at 80years of age, tributes from different personalities have been made in commemoration of his exit.
Keith Richards has followed Mick Jagger in paying tribute to Charlie Watts. It was in a simple form of picture as Mick posted earlier, several comments from fans was received.
“The heartbeat of the stones stopped today” one wrote.
Another wrote “Don’t know how you “replace” him. He maintained a quiet grace and dignity in a band that often lacked it and his playing was so unique and underrated. “Not just to the sound of the Stones, but just what his style evolved into. He knew how to play for the song. And at the end of the day, all of the tricks and drumming gymnastics in the world doesn’t mean much of you can’t play for the song. He taught me that. RIP, sir.”
