Following the upcoming world cup qualifiers matches, many top players will be returning to their countries or origin to participate in the campaign.
As it is now, Manchester United player, Edinson Cavani will not travel to South America for Uruguay’s upcoming World Cup qualifiers.
The 34-year-old had been called up for his country’s games with Peru, Bolivia and Ecuador. However, the Premier League intervened and ruled that players travelling to red-list countries would not be released by their clubs.
It is a really good boast for Manchester United to have him stay back as they prepare to play Newcastle and subsequently West Ham after the international break.
