A total amount of €48.5 billion worth of international transfer window activity was recorded with Manchester City , recording the highest.

From the information released by the governing body today Monday, August 30th, 2021, Manchester City top FIFA’s list of the biggest spenders on internationals transfers in the past decade.

A whooping amount of  $48.5billion worth of player trading was done between 2011 and 2020.

Huge amount of money was spent on the likes of Kevin De Bruyne and Ruben Dias during that period, so this doesn’t seem suprising why they top the table.

Chelsea and Barcelona are second and third respectively on the list which does not state how much each club spent in total.

Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid make up the top five, while 12 of the top 30 clubs, who have spent €19.3billion in the time period, are from England.

Premier league clubs are very consistent in the transfer window, thereby recording the highest transfer bid.
