World cup qualifiers games are starting today, and Cristiano Ronaldo will be playing for his home country Portugal. He is expected to take part in all the three Portugal features amidst his move to Manchester United, says Santos
The Portuguese international and captain will join his teammates, the likes of Bruno, Patricio and the rest as they play against the Republic of Ireland, Qatar and Azerbaijan, in the world cup qualifiers.
Cristiano Ronaldo completed his Manchester United comeback on Tuesday, 31st of August, thereby re-joining the club from Juventus, following his successful first stint at Old Trafford between 2003 and 2009.
Amidst the waves of the news of his coming back to the club, his attention has swiftly turned to his home country, Portugal as they prepare to face Republic of Ireland today, Wednesday, 1st of September 2021.
Portugal will also meet Qatar in a friendly games this Saturday before resuming their campaign to Qatar 2022 against Azerbaijan next week Tuesday.
