Nigeria wins Liberia in 2022 FIFA world cup qualifiers match

By Obiajulu Chiagoziem

Today 3rd September, 2021 at Teslim Balogun stadium in Surulere, Lagos, the Eagles grabbed a 3 point win against visitors Liberia with a 2:0 final score.

The game kicked off at exactly 5pm on a wet, slippery surface, which was due to heavy torrent of rainfall earlier before the match.

Nigerian eagles clinched their win as Leicester striker Kelechi iheanacho netted twice just before halftime.

Hopefully, if they continue at this pace and satisfying result, Nigeria will go far as the main competition starts next year.
