The South Korean team is back in their campaign for world cup qualifiers as they secured a 3 point win against Lebanon. The team had played without their star man, Son Heung-min who was out with a calf injury.
Initially, the first half ended goalless as both teams entered the dressing room with high hopes on second half.
Kwon Chang-hoon who was substituted just two minutes earlier in second half, exploited space in the box to put the hosts ahead.
“I’m happy to have scored a goal for the national team, and honoured to have done it at the Big Bird,” Kwon Chang-hoon.
South Korea and Lebanon are joined in Group A by Iran, Syria, United Arab Emirates and Iraq.
