Italian international and former Watford striker, Stefano Okaka has officially joined Basaksehir from Udinese.
The 32 years old player made 75 appearances and scored 18 goals while in Basaksehir after joining the club on a permanent deal from Watford in September 2019. He previously played for Roma, Brescia, Bari, Parma, Spezia and Sampdoria.
The club statement released following his leave from Udinese stated that:
“After 75 appearances and 18 goals, Stefano Okaka leaves Udinese,”
“The Umbrian striker has been sold outright to Istanbul Basaksehir.
“With his leadership and his technical and human qualities, Stefano has contributed to the achievement of targets for the club.
“From everyone at Udinese, we send the best wishes and a big thank you for what he has done wearing and sweating in the Bianconeri shirt.”
Stefano Okaka maintains the forward position but primarily the center forward.
The deal has been signed with his brother agent Carlo Okaka after medicals were completed today.
