Nigerian international player Victor Osimhen will no longer serve the normal two match suspension after he was shown a red card.
This was due to the successful appeal by the Napoli’s Officials to the Seria A for a one match suspension.
The Nigerian striker will be available as his club meets with Juventus on Saturday. He was sent off in Napoli’s first league game of the season after he was adjudged to have slapped a player.
He was to miss two games week for the sending off, but Napoli successfully appealed to cut it to just one game.
He has been a great impact both in his club team and home team. He successfully scored an equalizing goal for the Nigerian eagles in the still ongoing World cup qualifiers match yesterday 7th of September as they played against Cape Verde.
The 21 year old is widely regarded as one of the most promising and most in-demand African footballers. He was transferred to Serie A club Napoli for a club-record fee of €70 million in 2020.
