Jennifer Lawrence, 31 year old star of The Hunger Games, is set to be a mom soon, as she is expecting her first child with her husband Cooke Maroney, as revealed by her representative.
In 2015, the star had told Diane Sawyer that she’d want to be a mother.
“I definitely want to be a mother. I imagine I’ll have children, and then my whole life will just seem complete.”, she said.
Lawrence tied the knot with husband Cooke Maroney in October 2019, at a Rhode Island wedding ceremony, one year after their meeting.
Answering the question of “why she married Cooke, the movie star, who was the world’s highest-paid actress in 2015 and 2016 said: “I don’t know, I started with the basics: ‘How do I feel? Is he nice? Is he kind?’
“It’s just – this is the one, I know that sounds really stupid but he’s just, he’s the greatest person I’ve ever met, so I feel very honoured to become a Maroney.”
She also described Mr Maroney as “the greatest human being I’ve ever met”.
After the wedding, the award winning actress in a podcast in October 2020 revealed her one regret is her Bachelorette party.
“I had a major sleepover at my apartment, but I will say I regret not planning a big one,” she said at the time. “My friend was getting married close to me, and I went to her Bachelorette, and then we ended up—typical Leo—we called it my Bachelorette.”
Best known for the Hunger Games films, Lawrence won the best actress Oscar for Silver Linings Playbook.
