Real Madrid returned to Santiago Bernabeu after 560 days away to host Celta Vigo, who got thrashed with a 5:2 win.
A hat-trick by Karim Benzema stole the day’s show at Santiago Bernabeu. His brace leveled up Madrid after Santi Mina and Franco Cervi each put Celta ahead.
Goals from Vinicius Junior and Eduardo Camavinga who scored his debut goal gave Madrid a head up against their visitors.
Benzema’s scored a hat-trick by converting a penalty in the 87th minute, to make it five goals and two assists from his opening four games this season.
In attendance inside the Bernabeu, were 19,874 fans who are attending for the first time in a year and a half.
