Everton beat Burnley to move joint top of Premier League

Everton thrashed Burnley to level point with premier league leaders on Monday. A come back from the toffees secured their 3 points win.

A wonderful header from Michael Keane’s against his old club gave Everton a head start as Andros Townsend and Demarai Gray, the two new signings scored later for the toffees, making it a 3:1 win in favour of Everton.

Presently, Everton are now on same point as Liverpool, Chelsea and present top-of-the-table Manchester United.

Speaking after the match, Benitez said: “The reaction of the players, it doesn’t matter the system, was very good.

“You can see the fans, as soon as we attack, they are behind the team.” he concluded.

Everton is presently in a good form this season.
