Buckingham Palace announced this morning that the Princess Beatrice, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s elder daughter, has welcomed a daughter with husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

According to the royal family’s statement, she delivered her first daughter on Saturday 18th September 2021, at 23.42, at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, and she weighed 6 pounds, 2 ounces. The royal baby is the Queen’s 12th great-grandchild.

“Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are delighted to announce the safe arrival of their daughter on Saturday 18th September 2021, at 23.42, at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London,” reads a statement released.

“The new baby’s grandparents and great-grandparents have all been informed and are delighted with the news,”

“The family would like to thank all the staff at the hospital for their wonderful care.

“Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well, and the couple are looking forward to introducing their daughter to her big brother, Christopher Woolf.”, the statement from the Royal family read.

One would wonder who Christopher Woolf. Well, he is 38-year-old Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi’s son from a previous relationship with Dara Huang, in other words, his is Beatrice’s step-son.

Mozzi and Beatrice made their first public appearance at the National Portrait Gallery’s 2019 Gala. After which they were spotted holding hands in Net York City.

Sometime in May this year, Beatrice announced on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s third wedding anniversary that she was pregnant.

The new parents got married in July 2020 after initially rescheduling their wedding because of the coronavirus pandemic in a small wedding that held at the Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge and attended by Queen Elizabeth II and the late Prince Philip as well as close family members.
