That Harry Kane’s is still in Spurs has been a thing of worries for most of his fans who are in support of his earlier possibility of moving to Manchester City during the transfer window.
Kane, England’s International player and Captain was supposed to join premier league champions Manchester City during the summer’s transfer window, however, that didn’t happen.
To his fans, it’s a waste of time staying in a club, where he hasn’t lifted a trophy for over 4 years.
With this latest development, Teddy Sheringham has voiced out his disappointment over Kane staying back at Spurs.
He feels that a failed transfer to Manchester City continues to hamper the Spurs number 10.
“I’m amazed that he’s still there,” Sheringham said. “I must admit, when he came out with the interview with Gary Neville about saying that he wanted to go and play with [Kevin] De Bruyne, I thought the writing was on the wall and that he would be leaving that summer.
“For me, looking on the outside, I don’t know, but he must have had some sort of assurances from the chairman that he would be able to leave. That has changed.
“And I think that’s showing in his performance now that he’s not happy with something. He’s definitely not firing on all cylinders.” Teddy Sheringham concluded.
