GMB’s Charlotte Hawkins reunites with her six-year-old daughter after Covid isolation

Charlotte Hawkins who was in isolation at home away from her family due to her testing positive to covid19, has after 10 days, reunited with her daughter, Ella Rose.

Charlotte was seen sitting in her garden’s wood shed in a floral dress and jean jacket while her delighted six-year-old daughter wrapped her arms around her.

After the isolation, the TV presenter took to her Instagram page to share her story “So I finally get to hug this one after being in isolation for 10 days with covid… I missed it SO much!!

“I’m feeling extremely lucky I only had cold-like symptoms. Thankfully I kept testing even though I had none of the usual covid symptoms, so caught it early & none of my family got ill.”

She promised to come back to her radio show for Classic FM today in style, “Can’t wait to be back!!! Sending love to all those isolating with covid right now,” she added.

Charlotte’s return to her show means early waking up to attend to her show, “I have the same bedtime as my six-year-old! I try to be in bed by nine,” she added.

“That’s why she looks so good!” her co-star Ben Shepherd joked about her early to bed routine.

Charlotte is popularly known as an English television, radio presenter, newsreader and journalist.

She joined ITV’s Meridian Tonight in 2003, hosting its main news programme, leaving in 2006 to become co-presenter of Sky’s breakfast programme Sunrise with Eamonn Holmes.

In 2014, she left Sky to co-present the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain. She also presents a Sunday afternoon programme on Classic FM.

She was a contestant in the fifteenth series of Strictly Come Dancing but was eliminated in the fourth week.

Her career saw limelight when she featured in her broadcasting career with ITN in 1999 as a newsreader and reporter for LBC Radio.
