TV personality, Tana Ramsay, MasterChef Junior judge, Gordon Ramsay’s wife, has taken to her Instagram handle to mark baby loss awareness week as she reflected on the pain of losing her unborn child at five months pregnant in 2016.
She wrote: “If you know someone who has lost a child and you’re afraid to mention them because you think you might make them sad by reminding them that they died. You’re not reminding them. What you’re reminding them of is that you remembered they lived. And that is a great, great gift.”
She sincerely opened up by sharing her sad experience.
She captioned the post: ” If all had gone as we hoped yesterday 14/10/21 would have been our little boy Rocky’s 5th birthday, the day he was due not the day he was actually born when he was too little to survive.

“Not a day goes by when we don’t think of him, but, it wasn’t meant to be. We have gone on to be blessed and will be eternally grateful, but shall always remember our angel baby with a heart bursting with love and many many tears x #babylossawarenessweek”
After lossing a baby, Tana and her husband went on to have son Oscar, who is now two.

They are also parents to Meghan, 23, twins Holly and Jack, 21, and Tilly, 19, who is currently taking part in Strictly Come Dancing.
Gordon posted on his Twitter handle at the time of the loss, “We had a devastating weekend as Tana has sadly miscarried our son at five months.
“We’re together healing as a family, but we want to thank everyone again for all your amazing support and well wishes.

“I’d especially like to send a big thank you to the amazing team at Portland Hospital for everything they’ve done. Gx”
Tana has always been on the right side not failing to praise the husband for his supports, “I lost a baby in 2016 and Gordon was with me throughout that entire process and there’s no way I could have done it without him right there by my side.
“When we went on to have Oscar, 19 months ago, again he was right there by my side,”Tana said.
