Tawny Kitaen’s cause of death confirmed

Five months of confirming Tawny Kitaen death at the age of 59, sn autopsy result has been released.

The cause of her demise has been attributed to heart disease. It was confirmed officially by the Orange County Coroner’s Office as being dilated cardiomyopathy, which is the most common type of heart disease.

It was also revealed that other factors like clogged arteries, antidepressants, sedatives, Tylenol, nerve pain medication and opioids contributed to her demise.

Before her death, in her teens, Tawny ventured into showbiz, featuring in game show To Tell the Truth in 1976. She also featured in The Perils of Gwendoline, After Midnight and Bachelor Party, in which she starred as Tom Hanks’ character’s girlfriend.

Tawny once appeared on reality TV and had appeared on shows such as The Surreal Life, Botched, and Celebrity Rehab with Dr Drew.

Her Surviving daughters, Wynter Merin Finley, 28, and Raine Finley, 22, shared a joint statement as regards her demise while writing… “We are heartbroken and saddened to announce the death of our mom.

“We just want to say thank you, her fans and her friends, for always showing her such support and love.

“We miss her and love her and know her legacy will live on forever. – Wynter and Raine.”

Her death came just a month after her father died from cancer, with her brother saying her death came because of “a broken heart”.it concluded.
