Matthew Hutchins, husband to the deceased cinematographer, Halyna who was tragically killed in a horrifying accident on Thursday while filming for Alec Baldwin’s new movie Rust, has paid tribute to his wife.
The photographer mistakenly got shot on the set by a prop gun with a kive ammunition given to Alec who is the co-producer and a character in the movie.
Halyna’s husband, Matthew Hutchins took to Twitter on Saturday and shared a photo of his beloved wife with their nine-year-old son Andros.
He captioned the image: “Halyna inspired us all with her passion and vision, and her legacy is too meaningful to encapsulate in words.
“Our loss is enormous, and we ask that the media please respect my family’s privacy as we process our grief. We thank everyone for sharing images and stories of her life.”
He also updated his profile picture to a photo of him and the deceased wife together, whom he got married to 16 years. He equally changed his bio to: “We miss you, Halyna.”
Joel Souza also got injured too during the ugly incident, however, he survived and was later discharged from the hospital.
Alec within this period, has never been himself as he broke silence just yesterday being Friday as he shared: “There are no words to convey my shock and sadness regarding the tragic accident that took the life of Halyna Hutchins, a wife, mother and deeply admired colleague of ours.
“I’m fully cooperating with the police investigation to address how this tragedy occurred and I am in touch with her husband, offering my support to him and his family. My heart is broken for her husband, their son, and all who knew and loved Halyna.”he concluded.
