The nation’s biggest celebrities had their glad rags on for the Daily Mirror pride of Britain’s award, an annual award ceremony which takes place in the United Kingdom.

Some celebrities from London and outside were at the London’s Grosvenor House to celebrate the great Britain unsung heroes at what is always an emotional event.
One of the famous faces spotted includes former coronation Street star Catherine Tyldesley, who lovingly cradled her obvious baby bump.
The 38-year-old star dazzled in a floor-length champagne coloured gown, which featured a delicate mesh overlay embroidered with intricate crystals. Her dress was designed by Eliza Jane Howell.

This would be her first public appearance after announcing her pregnancy in an interview with Hello! magazine earlier this month. She is already mum to son Alfie, 6, whom she shares with husband Tom Pitfield.
Announcing her second pregnancy at the time, Catherine said: “We’re absolutely elated. We feel so lucky. When we found out, I just burst into tears.” Her husband, Tom went further to reveal that they are expecting a baby girl.

Daily Mirror’s Pride of Britain’s host, Carol Vorderman has hosted the award alone for more than 20years but is being partnered for the first time this year by Ashley,who says he’s honored to be involved.
In an announcement earlier this month, Ashley said about the award ceremony: “It’s such a special show, a very emotional and exciting night.”
