Canadian Rapper Aubrey Drake Graham, popularly known as Drake, has left a heartwarming message to say that his heart is broken following the events at Astroworld Festival which left eight people dead.
The popular singer broke his silence, and revealed how bad he felt over the tragic and disastrous events from Friday night.
The Rapper, 35, dropped a heartfelt and agonising statement on Instagram in which he told his fans “may God be with you all throughout all your endeavours”.
His heartfelt statement and message to his 95.8 million followers on the social media platform read: “I’ve spend the past few days trying to wrap my mind around this devastating tragedy that happened at Astroworld festival in Texas.
“I would sincerely hate to resort or write an emotional message on this platform,but that would be insane not to express my emotion as delicate as grief but this is where I find myself. My heart is broken for the families of those who lost their lives and for anyone who is suffering.
The singer said he did “continue to pray for all of them, so that they may rest in peace in bossom of the Lord, and will be of service in any way I can.”
He concluded his post with : “May God be with you all in all your endeavours.”
The Canadian joined Travis Scott on stage in Houston on Friday. The two performers are reportedly being sued following the crush at the Astroworld music festival.
The agonising, disastrous, tragic incident that happened saw eight people die and hundreds more injured during a performance by rapper Travis Scott.
There’s a series of Confirmed victims ranging from a 14 and 16-year-old, and people aged from 21 up to 27.
And there was a Danish Baig who was 27 and killed after being crushed while trying to save a relative during the stampede at the concert.
Kylie Jenner, Travis Scott’s partner was at the festival and recently posted a statement saying neither she nor Travis knew what was happening in the crowd during the performance, that they weren’t aware of the incident.
Her heartfelt statement on the disastrous incident that happened was posted on her Instagram page stories and read: “Travis and I are broken and devastated. My thoughts and prayers are with all who lost their lives, were injured or affected in anyway by yesterday’s events.
“And also for my lovely partner whom I know is devastated, for Travis who I know cares deeply for his fans at the Houston community.
“We felt bad and I would love to sincerely say we are not aware of any fatalities,or tragic incident until the news came out after the show and in no world would have continued filming or performing.
“I Jenner would love to send my deepest heartfelt condolences to all the families during this difficult time that this incident happened and will be praying for the healing of everyone who has been impacted or wounded from that incident.
