The Catalan club, FC Barcelona that have been both short in form and also financially struggling to build their squad to be better, have identified most of the players at London club Chelsea FC, with the likes of Callum Hudson Odoi, Christian Pulisic, Ceasar Azplicueta.
According to some reports, Morrocan and Chelsea player, Hakim Ziyech is edging closer to January switch to Barcelona on loan.
The former Ajax player has agitated for more game time after his switch to Stamford bridge and has failed to settle down.
Spanish publication SPORT carried reports that strugglers, Barca have already lined up the Moroccan and see him as an ideal January transfer window addition, but do not have the funds necessary to pull off a permanent deal.
It was also said that the Catalan club do not want to rush into final purchase until a player has proved himself in the La Liga
According to reports, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is keen for Ziyech to go out and get regular playing time, in order to return to Stamford Bridge match-ready and be available to provide a solid option.
It is also likely that with the ranks of Barcelona, that probably the market value of the Morrocan will rise up far more than expected.
SPORT also adds that Barcelona will be facing a lot of competition for the signature of the said player, with the likes of Borrusia Dortmund who is also admiring the player.
The German club Dortmund have long since earned a reputation and known for being swift movers in the transfer market, taking down-and-out or lesser known stars and turning them into elite level footballers on the European stage.
It was reported that Dortmund have already put a proposal to Ziyech, and are waiting to learn whether the playmaker is interested in making the switch to the Westfalenstadion.
Ziyech has started just two Premier League games so far this campaign and played a total of 182 minutes of league football.
Truly, the Playermaker would love to see more playing time and wouldn’t be bothered or affected about any loan deal coming during the winter transfer window.
