Bayern striker Robert Lewandowski wins the 2021 Golden Player award

Polish and Bayern striker Robert Lewandowski, 34, well known for his goalscoring abilities, has now won the 2021 Golden Player award against competitors, Lionel Messi of PSG and Jorginho Frello of Chelsea FC. The award is given by Tuttosport in Turin Italy.

However, France football are planning to reveal this year’s Balon D’or winner before the end of this month, despite many fans pointing out Mohammed Salah and Karim Benzema who have been very good for their clubs, unfortunately, according to reports, the award will be between Robert Lewandowski of Bayern Munich, Jorginho Frello of Chelsea and Lionel Messi of PSG.

As it remains unknown whom the France football will have to award the Balon d’or, the Italian newspaper, Tuttosport has announced the polish striker as this year’s Golden player winner, ahead of Lionel Messi of PSG and Jorginho Frello of Chelsea.

The Bayern striker secured the award again this year, after having won it last year, and has now won the award two years in a row, with Chelsea midfielder Jorginho taking second and Ex-Barcelona player Messi occupying the third position.

The decision to name Robert Lewandowski as the award winner was made by elite jury, who has won over 200 trophies within them, such as Andriy Shevchenko, Lothar Matthaus, Pavel Nedved, Samuel Eto’o, Luca Toni, Edwin van der Sar and Rui Costa.

Robert Lewandowski has secured the Tuttosports award in Turin Italy, and now looks if he will be able to do same, when the France football announces the Balon d’or winner before the end of this month of November.

Season already kickstarted, the Poland international wasted no time and has now scored 48 goals and provided nine assists from 40 appearances for the Bundesliga champions last season. He has taken the fine form into this season, scoring 24 goals and providing two assists in 18 matches for Bayern Munich.

Lionel Messi whom fans thought was bound and made for Barcelona, broke his association with the Spanish Giant FC Barcelona after he joined the French Giant PSG during the summer. The Argentinean, though, enjoyed a fruitful campaign at Camp Nou last season, scoring 38 goals and providing 14 assists in 47 games, wasn’t up to the standard he would have desired.

Surprisingly, the 34 years old Barcelona legend helped the Argentine national team win the Copa America and his first international trophy and most fans thinks he’s on his way to win his seventh (7) balon d’or.

On the other hand, Chelsea and Italian midfielder Jorginho Frello, has had a successful year with both club and country, helping his club and manager to the FA cup final which they lost against Leicester city and the champions league final which they won against their local Rival Manchester city, for his country he helped them win the European trophy in essence of England, beating them on penalty shootout.
