Popular actor, Morgan Stevens who was best known for appearing on Melrose Place, Fame and A Year in the Life, was found dead in his Kitchen, police confirmed to reporters.
According to sources, it was the neighbour who called the authorities to conduct a wellness check after the actor hadn’t been seen or heard from in a few days.
He was immediately pronounced dead at the scene, and police confirmed they do not suspect foul play and said Morgan most likely died of natural causes.
The late Morgan took up the role of Paul Northridge in much-loved sitcom the Waltons. His character only appeared in one episode and his character married Erin Walton.
He also appeared in Fame as David Reardon. He played the teacher for two seasons on the show, while his final appearance came in 1999 as he acted on Walker, Texas Ranger.
In the 1990s, the late actor was at the centre of an alleged police brutality incident after being arrested for an alleged DUI.
After his release, he claimed that after waiting for over 90 minutes in a cell, he never obliged to hand back a shirt that he was given and was then set upon by two jail employees who kicked and beat him over two dozen times.
He opted to sue and reached an out-of-court settli, after he had left the jail cell with a broken nose, a fractured cheek, a dislocated jaw and nerve damage.
